Dance Class Dress Code

Princess Ballet

Wednesdays 10-11am, ages 3-5

Calling all Princesses!

Join us as we dance to our favorite princess hits, students will learn the fundamentals of ballet while learning vocabulary, body awareness and how to be a Princess.

Dress Code: leotard, Ballet Pink tights, and ballet shoes.

Ballet students enrolled may audition for The Nutcracker Sweet portion of Christmas Spectacular and The Little Mermaid in the spring! Students will pay a production fee of $175 per show, that covers all cost of their performance, costume rentals and rehearsals. Students are eligible to audition for our main stage musical, Shrek The Musical!

Ballet 1

Tuesdays 5:00-6:30pm

Students will work on flexibility, full barre work, and full center work. They will also work on their technique and be expected to retain steps and combinations. They will understand vocabulary, focusing on turnout and body alignment.


Dress Code: Light Blue leotard (ordered from Trilogy), Ballet Pink tights, Pink split-sole ballet shoes.

This level of training is designed for students who want to advance their studies and advance their pointe work. The traditional ballet class format of barre followed by center exercise is used. Correct placement and turnout continue to be emphasized. Dress Code: Black leotard (can be ordered from Trilogy), Ballet Pink tights, Pink split-sole ballet shoes.

Broadway Tap and Jazz 1

Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm

This Tap and Jazz class focuses on proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement and includes proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions and combinations. This class focuses on proper technical execution of various turns, leaps and kicks, including more complex combinations across the floor. As the student progresses through each level, curriculum will increase in complexity and intricacy. Students are highly recommended to take ballet concurrently.

Students will perform in a class showcase on December 8th. Students are eligible to audition for our main stage musical Shrek The Musical and Christmas Spectacular!

Jazz with Leaps & Turns 2 and 3

Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm

Jazz class focuses on proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement and includes proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations. This class focuses on proper technical execution of various turns, leaps, and kicks, including more complex combinations across the floor. As students’ progress through each level, curriculum will increase in complexity and intricacy. Students are highly recommended to take ballet concurrently.

Modern 1/2

Thursdays 7:30-8:30pm

The modern class will be an intermediate class based on the Lester Horton technique. It will help students learn greater awareness of their body alignment and develop core strength. This is a very technical method that will help students grow in their understanding of movement, balance, and strength.

Hip Hop

Thursdays 8:30-9:30pm

The hip hop class will teach your student how to move with the music! Hip hop requires students to step out of themselves, so be prepared to be pushed! We will learn the basics, as well as learn about the major different areas of hip hop.

Acro Contortions & Tumbling

Wednesdays 7-8pm

This class will continue to introduce new movements while building on the fundamentals of strength and flexibility. Focus will be on extending students flexibility and stamina to hold through poses and multiple movements with fluidity.

Students will perform in a class showcase on December 7th.

Pointe and Prepointe Class

Ages 11-18

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm
This class is dedicated to teaching pointe fundamentals to students of the appropriate age and technical ability. Because of the risk of injury, students must be physically ready so one complete dance year of pre-pointe and a pointe evaluation is required before advancement top pointe class. The pointe evaluation allows teachers and students the opportunity to see where the student needs work in order to prepare for pointe. The evaluation focuses on legs (straightness and strength), feet (flexibility, strength, alignment, and shape) ankles (strength and straightness), and overall body alignment.
