Musical Theatre 1
Ages 3-6

In our outstanding musical theatre course, little ones come once a week for an hour to learn and experience the magic of theatre and performance. They will learn the basics of the Trilogy Quadruple Threat: Singing, acting, dancing, and character. At the end of the session your little ones will perform in costume and makeup famous songs from the musical classic, The Wizard of Oz. Watch your young ones grow in confidence onstage and develop their skills and talents! This class is the perfect introduction to theatre and performance! Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

Musical Theatre 2
Ages 7-11

Our Musical Theatre II class is an excellent course for focused and passionate young performers. They will learn theatre disciplines and build and build more onto their Trilogy Quadruple Threat foundation of singing, acting, dancing, and character. At the end of the session your young performers will showcase what they’ve learned, performing musical numbers from the blockbuster hit, The Greatest Showman. Watch your young performer develop the skills and theatre disciples that will set them apart and make them shine onstage! Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

Musical Theatre 3
Ages 12-18

This musical theatre course is designed for the passionate and driven young performer. Trilogy Teens will be challenged to grow as the Trilogy Quadruple Threat. They will learn the foundations of musical theatre and its history, and classic musical theatre dance, vocals, musicality, and acting. This course is once a week for an hour, and alternates focus each week between musical theatre dance and vocal and stage performance. The committed and enthusiastic performer will not want to miss out! At the end of the session they will perform musical numbers from the Rogers and Hammerstein classics: The Sound of Music, The King and I, Cinderella, South Pacific, and Oklahoma! Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

CLASS TIMES:   TUES 5 pm

Acting 1
Ages 7-10

In this course young actors come once a week for an hour to learn and experience the thrill of the theatre. Your young actors will learn the basic ins and outs of the theater space, as well as theatre history, and basic stage directions and etiquette. They will also practice scene work, basic character analysis, and ensemble building exercises. This course is the perfect introduction to the world of acting and drama! At the end of the session your young actors will perform scenes from The Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan! Watch as your young actors develop confidence and charisma onstage! Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

CLASS TIMES:   TUES 6 pm  •  WED 5 pm

Acting 2
Ages 11-13

In this course young actors will come once a week for an hour to learn the power of good storytelling and performance. Your young actors will practice character development, character and story arcs, and the foundations to theatre acting and analysis. Watch and be amazed as your young actors transform into their roles and transport you into their story. At the end of the session they will perform scenes from such epics as The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings. Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

CLASS TIMES:   TUES 7 pm

Acting 3
Ages 14-18

In this acting course young actors will come once a week to learn and experience the richness of performance and the theatre. Actors will practice play, scene, and character analysis, blocking and staging scenes, and more advanced acting techniques and theories. At the end of the session they will perform scenes from the famous Greet tragedy, Antigone. Watch as your young actors perform weighted material with confidence, understand- ing, and ease, and grow even more into their skills and talents. Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

Improv Jr
Ages 7-11

This excellent introduction to Improv course meets once a week for an hour to learn the vital skill of improvisation. Your young ones will learn the basic rules of improv, practice ensemble building and focus exercises, learn to rely on their impulses and acting choices, and acknowledge and play off of others acting choices. Watch as your young one grows in confidence and assuredness onstage and off! The art of improvisation is truly a life skill! Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

Improv Sr
Ages 12-18

This fun improv course meets once a week for an hour to learn and advance in the art of improvisation. Your young performers will learn the rules of improv, practice ensemble building and focus exercises, learn to trust their impulses, and grow in spontaneity and trust with their peers. Watch and be entertained as your young performers confidently rely on impulse and each other to create scenes onstage. Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

CLASS TIMES:   THURS 7 pm

Devised Theatre & Movement
Ages 12-18

In this unique course your young performers will come once a week for an hour to learn the art of storytelling. They will learn how to effectively communicate through expressive movements, and improvise and collaborate with their ensemble to come up with original performance pieces. This course is perfect for the creative and expressive performer! Watch and be a witness to your young performer’s unlocked creativity! Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

CLASS TIMES:   TUES 8 pm

Film Acting
Ages 7-18

This is an exciting course for students that have a desire to act for action films or television. Students will be given the opportunity to be filmed like the actors in comedy, drama and action movies. Creating scenes, commercials, special effects, green screen, and more will be taught. Get ready to write scenes and perform for the camera while also being taught the skills for green screen using stunts and wire works! This class will produce actual film footage to watch at showcase on December 8th! Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

CLASS TIMES:   WED 7 pm

Solos and Duets Jr.
Ages 7-11

In this exciting vocal course young ones will come once a week for an hour to learn about and unlock their vocal potential. They will learn their vocal range, exercises and warm ups, proper breathing, and stage presence. Your young ones will have the opportunity to sing solos and learn duets with their peers. At the end of the session they will perform songs from the Broadway musical hit Wicked and other works from the genius of Stephen Schwartz. This is a great introduction to performance and understanding your voice! Watch, listen, and be amazed at the sound and strength of your young one’s voice! Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

CLASS TIMES:   TUES 7 pm

Solos and Duets Sr.
Ages 12-18

In this outstanding vocal course young vocalists will come once a week for an hour to learn and grow their vocal strengths and potential. They will learn their vocal range, exercises and warm ups, proper breathing and breath support, and stage presence. Your young vocalists will have the opportunity to sing solos and learn duets with their peers. At the end of the session they will perform songs from Disney’s HerculesEligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.

Audition Techniques
Ages 7-18

In this excellent course young performers will meet once a week for an hour to practice and improve their audition and callback skills. They will learn what material best showcases their abilities, how to present them- selves, slate an audition piece, cold reading, and practice audition and callback etiquette. They will also learn how to construct a theatre resume and headshot. This is an excellent way to prepare young performers for future success in the audition room! Eligible to audition for Trilogy’s fall production, The Wizard of Oz.
