Annie: Musical Theatre Jr. (Ages 7-11)

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm

Join us for a heartwarming and high-energy musical theatre adventure inspired by Annie! Students will learn to sing, dance, and act while bringing scenes and songs from this beloved Broadway classic to life. Through fun character work, choreography, and teamwork, young performers will build confidence and stage presence in a supportive, joyful environment.

Classes begin the week of January 5th! Our End-of-Semester Showcase will take place during the last week of classes, April 27, 29th, and May 1st (specific date and time TBA).

This advanced musical theatre travel group is designed for students ready to take their singing, dancing, and acting to the next level! Under the guidance of Miss Brook, students will reinforce fundamentals while exploring more complex techniques in all three disciplines. Teamwork, stage presence, and performance polish are emphasized as students prepare for high-level showcases and travel performances.

Take your vocal performance to the next level in Melody & Meaning: Advanced Vocal Theatre. This class is designed for young performers ready to master technique, explore character-driven storytelling, and deliver songs with professional-level expression. Students will focus on vocal precision, phrasing, musicality, and stage presence, gaining the skills needed to shine in both solo and ensemble performance.

Opportunities include classroom showcases and encouragement to audition for Trilogy productions and elite performance opportunities, fostering confidence, artistry, and performance professionalism in every student.

Chamber Vocal Ensemble with Mr. Chris (BY AUDITION ONLY)

This master class, taught by Mr. Chris, is by audition only for vocalists that are at a level of skill to include complex harmonies, acapella work and much more! All serious vocalists are invited to audition for this special 90 minute class. The Chamber Ensemble has performed and workshopped at the prestigious M-PACT vocal festival multiple times, and most recently performed in our very own Colby with their own band- presenting live music and artistry at its best!

Thrones and Thespians: Shakespeare, Medieval Acting Class, and Sword Play

Step back in time to the age of kings, queens, and courageous heroes! In this immersive acting and stage combat class, students will explore Shakespearean theatre, swordplay, and medieval performance technique under the expert guidance of Trilogy founders, Bridget and Damon Taylor.

Through expressive movement, dynamic scene work, and safe stage combat training, actors will learn to bring legendary tales to life with confidence and flair. Students will also experience period-inspired costuming—including corsets for girls and tunics for boys—to help them embody the world of the stage with authenticity and artistry.

Young Stars Acting Academy - Level 1

Acting 1 serves as the cornerstone of a student's journey under the tutelage of Mr. Tim toward becoming a proficient stage actor. The course emphasizes key aspects such as character development, engaging with others, honing physical awareness, concentration, memorization, imagination, and trust-building. Additionally, students will delve into theater etiquette and gain valuable theatrical knowledge.

Classical Conservatory Repertoire

Ages 10+

Focus: Ballet • Musical Theatre • Performance Technique

This class immerses dancers and musical theatre students in the rich traditions of classical repertoire. Each session focuses on learning excerpts and ensemble choreography inspired by historic ballets, operettas, and Golden Age musicals — such as Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, West Side Story, Oklahoma!, and My Fair Lady.

Students will study original staging, musical phrasing, and stylistic details that shaped these works, while developing the artistry, poise, and storytelling skills required for professional performance. Emphasis is placed on musicality, expression, partner awareness, and stage presence.

Throughout the semester, students will:

  • Learn authentic choreography from classical and musical theatre repertoire
  • Explore character work and stylistic transitions between genres
  • Strengthen performance quality through group and solo work
  • Gain insight into historical context, composers, and choreographers
  • Prepare selected scenes or variations for studio showings or performance exams

One of the most important skills a live theatre artist can have is the ability to confidently improvise!
Join Mr. Tim in this delightfully entertaining and creatively charged acting class! Participants will master the art of improvisation, learning to act without a script and think quickly on their feet—all while enjoying a lively experience every week. Laughter, a fantastic form of therapy, meets the invaluable acting technique of Improv, a skill beneficial for everyone. In the unpredictable realm of live theatre, improvisational skills are indispensable, fostering confidence and creativity in every actor!
