Classes start the week of August 21st and end December 9
Broadway Beauty: Hair and Makeup Design for Stage
Tuesdays 5-6pm
Ages 9+
Students will learn the basics of stage makeup and hairstyling. A wide range of styles and techniques will be introduced from beauty to beasts; classic to whimsical. Students will learn how to create iconic looks from film and stage while mastering foundational techniques used in character designs.
They will get the opportunity to assist with hair and makeup for Trilogy's fall production of "The Little Mermaid" as well as the fall "Cirque" show. There will also be a gallery style show at the end of the semester to showcase each students' talents and what they have learned.
Makeup Magic
Thursdays 10-11am
Ages 4+
Bring your imagination to life by learning how to create magical makeup looks! In this class students will learn how to apply makeup and facepaints using brushes and sponges. They will learn how to use color on eyes, cheeks, and lips as well as recreating makeup based on beloved Disney characters, animals, and fantasy creatures. Students will love letting their creativity flow off of the brush and onto their face.
Looks Like a Star: Fashion Sketching and Costume Design
Thursdays 11am-12pm or 7pm-8pm
Ages 9+
In this class students will study the history of fashion and costume design. They learn elements of design and color theory. Students will learn and practice sketching male and female croquis and different garments with their varying elements. Students will be challenged to create looks based on themes, styles, eras and fantasy.
As a final project students will assist hair and costume design for Trilogy's production of "The Little Mermaid" as well as the fall "Cirque" show. We will host a gallery style show at the end of the semester to showcase the students' talents and what they have learned.
Musical Theatre- Under the Sea with Miss Morgan and Me
Wednesdays 5-6pm
Ages 4-7
Musical Theatre students learn how to do it all- sing, dance and act! Students will be taught the basics in proper vocal skills, introduced to stage knowledge and etiquette, beginner theatre movement and acting, as well as learning simple choreography. Come "Under the Sea" with Miss Morgan and enjoy some of the best Disney classic songs and scenes while you're "Part of that World"
Students will perform in a class showcase in the Colby Theatre at the end of the semester. Students may audition for our mainstage production, The Little Mermaid (November 16-19).

Musical Theatre Jr.

Musical Theatre students learn how to do it all- sing, dance and act! Students will be taught the basics in proper vocal skills, introduced to stage knowledge and etiquette, beginner theatre movement and acting, as well as learning musical theatre choreography. We will learn to sing, dance, and act to the "Fabulous" music of Wicked!
Students will perform in a class showcase in the Colby Theatre at the end of the semester. Students may audition for our mainstage production, The Little Mermaid (November 16-19).

Ages 10+
Students 10+ are invited to join this Musical Theatre class where training will be focused on proper vocal skills (including execution of harmonies and counterpoint), stage knowledge and etiquette, theatre movement and acting, and learning musical theatre choreography. Skills and training will be highlighted as students perform to some of the worlds most beloved songs from Little Women the Musical! This is definitely a class not to be missed- whether you are a beginner or veteran of the stage!

Advanced Musical Theatre- Tap and Jazz Enrollment Required
Tuesdays 6-7pm
Ages 8-18
Musical Theatre students in this class will take their training to a higher level in singing, dancing and acting. All fundamentals will be reinforced, while adding more complex study in all three genres. Students will show off their hard work while performing to Broadway classic's from "The Music Man" in a class showcase in the Colby Theatre at the end of the semester. Students may also audition for our mainstage production, The Little Mermaid (November 16-19)!
**Students in this Musical Theatre class are required to also be enrolled in Tap and Jazz dance classes as we will be focusing on advanced training for the musical theatre stage!

Students 13+ are invited to join this Musical Theatre Sr class where training will be focused on proper vocal skills (including execution of harmonies and counterpoint), stage knowledge and etiquette, theatre movement and acting, and learning musical theatre choreography. Skills and training will be highlighted as students perform to some of Broadway's most beautiful songs. This is definitely a class not to be missed- whether you are a beginner or veteran of the stage!

Comedic Acting Through IMPROV
Thursdays 5-6pm
Ages 12-18
Come be a part of this hilariously fun and creative acting class! Students will learn how to act without a script, and think fast on their feet- all while having a blast every week! Laughter is great therapy and Improv is a great acting technique for all people to possess! Part of the beauty of live theatre is that you never know for sure how things may unfold! Improvisational skills are crucial for performers to be ready for anything, and adds confidence and creativity development for any actor!

Acting 1
Tuesdays 7-8pm
Ages 7-11
Acting 1 is the foundation of a student's training to be an accomplished actor on the stage! Learning character development, interacting and reacting with others, building skills of physical awareness, concentration, memorization, imagination and trust are major focuses for this class along with theatre etiquette and knowledge. This class will present their skills by performing scenes from the fantasy classic (A script fee of approximately $15 will apply.)

Acting 2

Ages 12+
Acting 2 furthers the development of a student's training to be an accomplished actor on the stage! Diving deeper into character development, interacting and reacting with others, enhancing skills of physical awareness, concentration, memorization, imagination and trust are major focuses for this class along with theatre etiquette and knowledge. This class will present their skills by performing scenes from the fantastic classic (A script fee of approximately $15 will apply.)

Acting with Mr. Tim
Thursdays 8-9pm
Ages 12+
Acting with Mr. Tim continues the foundation for the young theatre artist's skill set. Students will learn to confront acting with a playful attitude and trust one's instincts on the stage while performing in a show. ATP will also train students using the G.O.T.E method in identifying their character goals, obstacles, tactics, and expectations, as well as introduce specificity in the actor. The specific work presented will be announced soon. (There will be a script fee of approximately $15.)

Tech Workshop

Would you like to learn all the ins and outs that happen behind the scenes? This Tech Workshop class with Mr. Chris will go over the technical aspects that make any good show a GREAT show! You can't have theatre without tech!

Theatre Movement
Thursdays 7-8pm
Ages 12+
This technical class is a fantastic addition to the young actor's learning. Theatre movement is a huge part of any and all character development, and far too often overlooked. This class will be fun and fast paced, allowing students to bring new knowledge to their craft every week! Take your acting to a higher level by enrolling in this class!

Solos and Duets

Ages 7-13
Solos and Duets focuses on vocals! Whether singing alone or with others, building your voice is important! Students will learn breathing techniques, proper singing posture, and so much more! All while enjoying the music of the one and only Taylor Swift!

Chamber Ensamble

This master class is by audition only for vocalists that are at a level of skill to include complex harmonies, acapella work and much more! All serious vocalists are invited to audition for this special 90 minute class. Auditions are by appointment only. Please contact the office for more details.
